Thank you for taking the time to look at my photographs.
I have always had a love for aesthetics. Being raised in New Zealand - Aotearoa - and spending most of my childhood holidays sailing or bushwalking also ensured a lasting love of the outdoors.
Aotearoa is a place of constantly changing beauty and spectacularly varied and relatively untouched landscapes.
I feel extremely blessed to be born and bred in this remote corner of the world, especially as a photographer and environmental enthusiast.
After undertaking a bachelor of design and photography I originally dabbled in Graphic design before pursuing photography seriously around 2004.
Having shot 35mm and medium format film, I have spent the last 5 years refining my art.
I now predominantly use professional digital SLR equipment, although the greatest ingredient
in landscape photography remains consistently putting yourself in the right place at the right time.
While I am focussed on environmental portraits of my homeland I have a fast growing interest in people and travel photography and look forward to pursuing these genres more in the future.

I hope you enjoy these images as much as I have enjoyed creating them, if you wish to discuss anything photographic, I would love to hear from you at:
